Alexis Bower joined St. John Fisher’s women’s lacrosse program as goalkeepers coach before the 2024 season.
With Bower on staff, the Cardinals have gone 31-9 overall and won the Empire 8 Conference title twice to qualify for the NCAA Division III Tournament. Bower has had a key role in the development of All-American goalkeeper Kaylee Gadol, who in 2025 led the nation in goals against average (5.33). The Empire 8 Co-Goalkeeper of the Year made 65 saves and allowed 74 goals for a save percentage of .468 while posting a 17-1 record.
Bower played lacrosse in England for Nottingham Trent University, where her team finished with an undefeated season while winning their division and the BUCS National Title. Bower had the lowest number of goals allowed and the highest save percentage in the division.
Bower began her collegiate playing career at St. Michael’s College and transferred to Division I Siena after he freshman season. In her time as a Saint, she was named to the MAAC All-Academic Team and MAAC Academic Honor Roll. Bower earned IWLCA honors for academic and athletic excellence and also received the Outstanding Academic Athlete Award for excellence in competition at the Division I level as a senior.
In 2021, Bower graduated from Siena with a degree in digital marketing and communications and then went on to earn her Master’s degree in Digital Marketing from Nottingham Trent University.
Bower is also head of the goalie program for Aces Lacrosse, a competitive club team based in the Rochester area.
